Up Close Look at Sunday Mornings

Service Times for the Xtreme Kidz Zone (rm. 5) and the High Voltage Tweens (youth worship area):
9:00am  Large Group Praise and Worship
10:30am Small Group for Kidz

What Happens in the Xtreme Kidz Zone (1st-3rd grade)?
Children will be engaged in many different learning opportunities and activities, all centered around going to the Xtreme to Win Kids to Christ. Here is what a typical morning in the Xtreme Kidz looks like.

Welcome: Each child is greeted at the check-in area where adults and high school youth are there to assist them in the arcade and craft areas.  The arcade and craft areas are open prior to and after each service.

9:00am Service
Large Group Praise and Worship: At the beginning of each service, kids are moved to their large group environment where they participate in praise and worship and sing as loud as they want! They also have a time of prayer, communion is offered to kids who have been baptized, and they hear the Bible story. We use costumes, props, role playing, and characters from the story - anything that makes the Bible apply to their daily lives. We want the BIBLE to COME TO LIFE on Sunday mornings for these kids.

10:30am Service
Small Groups for Kidz: This environment is where kids will form deeper relationships with Jesus Christ, their small group leader, and other kids!! Kids still participate in an abbreviated large group praise and worship service as in the 9:00am service.  However, 50% of the time is spent in small groups, led by adult leaders.

What Happens in the High Voltage Tweens (4th-6th grade)?
The older group follows a similar format outlined above.  The Large Group and Small Group times will be geared more for this age group.
