First Time Families

V isiting any church for the first time can be a stressful experience as you try to find the church, figure out where to park, walk into a new place you have never been and enter the Worship Area. That stress can be greater if you are also trying to find the correct place for your children to go. 

To make this process easier for you, we suggest that you fill out the First-time Guest Information Form and bring it with you on your first visit to our church.  You might find it helpful to familiarize yourself with the Check In process here at BCC for you children below.

Safety, Check-In and Check-Out Procedures

Why do we have to focus on Safety and Security?
     Our objective at Broadway Christian Church is to keep each and every child safe. In this ever-changing world, we must take every precaution to keep all of our children safe. We have developed procedures to make certain that, while at church, every child is protected.

     The first time you arrive at Broadway Christian Church, please be sure to stop at the Welcome Center located in the foyer at the front of our church. One of our Welcome Center Hosts will take you to the check-in area.

     Our check-in system allows for kids to be registered at our new computers.  A security tag will be generated for each child, with a matching tag for the parent when picking up the child. You will then proceed to either the Kidz Zone (1st-3rd grade) or the High Voltage Tweens (4th-6th grade). Parents are not allowed past the entrance unless there is an emergency or if it is the first time visiting Broadway Christian Church. An adult volunteer will accompany the parent and the child into the children’s area.

What is the Check-Out Process for Xtreme Kidz Zone Children?

     Our system allows for kids to be checked out only by the parent or guardian bringing them to church. Check-out locations are based on age at assigned doors in the Xtreme Kidz Zone. Greeters at check-in will inform parents of the check-out locations. Parents announce to the adult volunteers at the doors who they are picking up. Children will be brought to the door and parents show the computer-generated name tag.
